After stumbling across a box of old summer photos, I found myself comparing those fond memories to my current summer status; living through a pandemic. Instead of going on vacations and having family barbecues, I’m living through my phone screen. Communicating with my family and friends with text messages and FaceTime calls. This select archive image contains a message I received during the lock-down, and reflects on different times.
This piece is dedicated to my grandfather.
